Manx who are receiving National or Regional awards for the 2005-2006 show season.  Please note that not all regions are represented nor are all cats who, placement-wise may have qualified for a breed or color win as some regions have a minimum point score necessary to receive a regional win while others go only on placement or have a lower minimum.

There will be a list sent based on national points which will include the top 20 Manx based on national/regional points whether or not they actually won a regional title.

MAY

CFA has launched it's new For Kids ... ABOUT CATS web site! This exciting new site for youngsters will introduce them to the breeds of pedigreed cats, their personalities, colors and patterns; explain all about cat shows and judging; and describe the CFA Junior Showmanship Program. Included is lots of neat stuff for kids to have fun with, such as match games, crossword puzzles, word searches and jigsaw puzzles. The site also contains a list of resources for parents and teachers. June 2005  found here;

JULY

There are always issues coming up for vote, so it would be good to have all the voices eligible to vote.

AUGUST

August 1 is the Breed Council membership deadline.  Membership applications for 2006 must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office no later than this date.

If you qualify for Rapid Renewal and have not paid your 2006 dues, you can now do so through the on-line catalog at:
  Miscellaneous and Provisional breeds with Breed Committees are not included at this time, unfortunately, due to the GC/GP requirement for Rapid Renewal.
A breed council membership number is required, and you will be asked if there is a change of address (a simple YES).  The choices are there for the first breed/division, as well as additional ones (which need to be added to the cart individually).

Here is the link:
