Dues are due by January 15th & late by February 1st - the mailing list is culled at that point in  time and non paid members are removed.  [If you need time, LET ME KNOW, & I can make the arrangements]

  • JANUARY 1, 2007
    Central Office Closed in Observance of New Year’s Day.

  • JANUARY 2, 2007*
    Annual Club Fees
    Payment of $80.00 membership fee and $15.00 insurance surcharge and current club membership lists due in Central Office.
    Annual Judges’ Relicensing Fees
    Payment of $25.00 fee due in Central Office.
    *As January 1, 2007 falls on a weekend, this deadline is moved to the next business day.

  • JANUARY 5, 2007
    Deadlines for Letters Regarding Club Applicants
    All letters regarding club applicants being considered at the February 2007 Board Meeting must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office by this date.

  • FEBRUARY 1, 2007
    Deadline Club Fees & Membership Lists to Participate in the Election of Director-at-Large
    A club’s fee of $80.00 for membership and $15.00 insurance surcharge and current membership lists must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office as of this date in order to be eligible to vote for Director-at-Large

  • FEBRUARY 15, 2007
    New Club Applicant Deadline
    Completed club applications must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office by this date for consideration at the June 2007 Board Meeting.

  • MARCH 15, 2007
    Candidates for Directors-at-Large
    Signed written notice of intent to be a candidate for Director-at-Large must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office by this date to be included on the 2007 ballot. Declarations received via fax are acceptable.

  • APRIL 6, 2007
    Judging Program Initial/First Specialty Applicant Deadline
    All materials must be submitted and requirements met by this date to be considered for acceptance into the program by the Board of Directors at the October 2007 Board Meeting.
    Judging Program Second Specialty Applicant Deadline
    All materials must be submitted and requirements met by this date to be considered for acceptance into the program by the Board of Directors at the June 2007 Board Meeting.

  • APRIL 16, 2007
    Clubs wishing to publicize proposed Constitutional Amendments and Resolutions must submit the text of the proposals to the Central Office by this date.
    A club may send notice of proposed amendments and resolutions to other member clubs by its own means provided it be done 45 days prior to the Annual Meeting.

  • MAY 1, 2007
    Delegate forms must be postmarked by this date to be eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting.

  • MAY 10, 2007
    Club Fees and Membership List Deadline
    Annual Club Fees ($95.00) and current membership list must BE RECEIVED in Central Office by this date for a club to be eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting.

  • JUNE 1, 2007
    Club Fees and Membership List Deadline
    Annual Club Fees ($95.00) and current membership list must BE RECEIVED in Central Office by this date for a club to remain on CFA’s membership roster.
    Director-at-Large Ballot Deadline
    CFA Director-at-Large ballots must BE RECEIVED in Central Office by this date.

  • JUNE 15, 2007
    New Club Applicant Deadline
    Completed club applications must BE RECEIVED in the Central Office by this date for consideration at the October 2007 Board Meeting.

Important Information: Club membership lists via e-mail and delegate forms or ballots received via fax or e-mail are not acceptable.

Declarations for any office should not be co-mingled with any other material (e.g. registration applications, show license applications, etc.). Receipt of declarations is acknowledged by the Central Office; therefore, if an acknowledgment is not received within 3 weeks after declaration has been mailed, please contact the office immediately.

Effective July 2001, club membership lists and documentation to change your club secretary will be accepted via fax. Please keep in mind that all documentation still needs to be signed by the appropriate club officers.

  • February 3-4, 2007: Houston Airport Marriott, Houston, TX

  • June 27 - July 1, 2007: Annual & Board Meetings: Hilton Austin, Austin, TX

  • June 25-29, 2008: Annual & Board Meetings: Louisville Marriott Downtown, Louisville, KY

The 2007 Annual will be in Austin, TX.  June 27th - July 1st 2007. 
Yes that is the 5th weekend in June.
